    • The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a packaging material for a battery case and a packaging material thereby. In a method of manufacturing a battery packaging material for a battery in which a cell, a cell pouch, and a battery packaging material are sequentially laminated and bonded, a packaging material is manufactured by the steps of: forming a first adhesive layer on a metal foil protection polymer film using a dry lamination adhesive; pressing and thermally bonding an aluminum metal foil to the polymer film using the first adhesive layer; forming a second adhesive layer on a metal foil damage prevention polymer film using a dry lamination adhesive; pressing and thermally bonding an aluminum metal foil to the polymer film using the second adhesive layer; and forming a third adhesive layer under the polymer film using an adhesive made of an adhesive resin, wherein the packaging material and the cell pouch are bonded through the third adhesive layer. According to the present invention, the miniaturization and weight reduction of a battery can be achieved by using an aluminum metal foil as a basic structure of a battery packaging material, and the battery packaging material and a cell pouch can be smoothly bonded by applying a separate adhesive layer which is well bonded to the cell pouch as well as to a polymer film for preventing the damage to the aluminum metal foil.
