    • PURPOSE: An iron filtering apparatus for a gas pressure regulator is provided to improve foreign materials removing efficiency by complementing a function of a filter for a pressure regulator installed in advance. CONSTITUTION: An iron filtering apparatus for a gas pressure regulator comprises an iron filter(30). The iron filter comprises a main filter(20). The iron filter comprises a plurality of magnetic rods(32) and a support frame(34). The magnetic rod is arranged at constant intervals in the longitudinal direction of the main filter and is formed in a cylinder structure. The magnetic rod removes the iron powder. The support frame is equipped in the both sides of the magnetic rods and maintains the magnetic rods to form a cylindrical layout structure.

    • A gas pipe connecting method and a device used for the same are provided to allow for ease of removal of a branch pipe by reliably discharging residual gas from a branch pipe when a main pipe is erroneously perforated. A gas pipe connecting method includes a first step of arranging a branch tee(47) on a main pipe(45) and connecting a branch pipe(48); a second step of arranging a sandwich valve(70) on the branch tee, and discharging gas through a breather valve(56) mounted on the sandwich valve and measuring a gas pressure during perforation of the main pipe; a third step of judging as an abnormality if the gas pressure is not the desired one, isolating a pipe punch, and preparing a stopper plug(90) which shuts off the main pipe and communicating the branch tee and the branch pipe; a fourth step of inserting the stopper plug to the branch tee by using a plugging device(80) such that the main pipe is completely shut off and sealed; a fifth step of injecting safe gas into the branch pipe through a connection path of the stopper plug from an external source by using the breather valve arranged on the sandwich valve and discharging explosive gas remaining in the branch pipe; and a sixth step of removing the branch pipe and sealing the connection portion between the branch pipe and the branch tee after completion of discharge of the explosive residual gas.

    • PURPOSE: An emergency shutdown device for a gas governor is provided to shut off a solenoid valve in case of normal supply pressure, and to open the solenoid valve to automatically flow the supply pressure into an emergency shutdown valve if excessive pressure generates in a rear end supply line of a gas governor. CONSTITUTION: An emergency shutdown device for a gas governor comprises an emergency shutdown valve(52), a sensing line(60), a pressure measuring device, a solenoid valve(80), and a controller. The emergency shutdown valve is installed on a gas supply line and shut off the gas supply line in case that the pressure in a rear end supply line is over a set pressure. The sensing line is connected to the inner side of an emergency shutdown valve at the rear end supply line to provide the gas pressure of the rear end supply line. The pressure measuring device is installed in the rear end supply line to measure the gas supply pressure. The solenoid valve is installed on the sensing line to open and close the sensing line. The controller receives the detecting results of the pressure measuring device. If the gas pressure of the rear end supply line is less than the set pressure, the controller controls the solenoid valve to shut off the sensing line. If the gas pressure of the rear end supply line is over the set pressure, the controller controls the solenoid valve to open the sensing line so that the gas pressure can flow into the emergency shutdown valve.
