The first packing is inserted into one side of the first protrusion of the first pipe. The other side of the first packing makes tight contact with one side of the first protrusion.

摘要： PURPOSE: A connecting device for synthetic resin pipes using hinged spiral rods is provided to facilitate the connection of spiral rods by automatically determining the positions of the spiral rods when fastening flanges. CONSTITUTION: A connecting device for synthetic resin pipes using hinged spiral rods comprises first and second pipes(100,200), spiral rods(300), hinge coupling units(400), fixing units(500), and a sealing unit(600). The first pipe has a first flange, an insert protrusion(102) formed on the inner perimeter of the first flange, and first installation grooves(103) formed on the outer perimeter of the first flange. The second pipe has a second flange(201), an insert groove(202), and second installation grooves(203) formed on the outer perimeter of the second flange. The spiral rods are horizontally arranged between the first and second installation grooves. The hinge coupling units connect one end of each spiral rod to the second flange with a hinge. Each fixing units has a spring washer(501) which is fitted to the other end of each spiral rod and a nut(502) which is coupled to the threads(301) of the spiral rod. The sealing unit includes a rubber packing which is inserted in the insert groove.
