摘要： PURPOSE: A device for attenuating vibration of an information storage apparatus is provided to attenuate vibration generated inner and outer structures of the information storage apparatus, thereby improving the reliability of the information storage apparatus. CONSTITUTION: A device for attenuating an information storage apparatus(10) includes piezoelectric materials(11) attached to inner and outer structures of the information storage apparatus or random positions of components of the information storage apparatus including a vibration source, and a shunt circuit(12) connected to the corresponding piezoelectric material to dissipate vibration energy transmitted to the piezoelectric material attached to the components of the information storage apparatus as heat.
