When water is not discharged at ordinary times, cut-off portions are adhered closely to each other with magnetic force of magnetic elements contained on the whole of the offensive odor prevention device or in the cut-off portions, or, the magnetic plates to prevent the inflow of an offensive odor from a drain, and if water flows inward, the cut-off portions are opened with gravity of water exceeding the magnetic force to discharge water to the drain.
