    • PURPOSE: A vibrating wire piezometer is provided to make precise measurement possible by keeping an oscillation frequency of a vibrating wire regularly, to prevent the dewing or corrosion of a vibrating wire caused by long-term use, and not to be influenced by the resistance changes of a cable, the contact resistance with the ground or an electric leakage. CONSTITUTION: The vibrating wire piezometer comprises a filter(31), a partition plate(32), a vibrating wire(35) and an electromagnetic coil(38), and measures after converting the frequency of AC(alternating current) voltage into pore pressure caused by vibrating a steel wire with an electromagnetic coil by varying the tensile force and natural frequencies of the vibrating wire(35) connected to the partition plate(32) if the partition plate(32) is put under pore pressure of the surrounding ground.
