      따라서, 리턴스프링이 복원될 시 아웃터디스크의 측면이 인너디스크의 대응면에 접촉되기 전에 먼저 마찰력증대링의 탄성변형부가 인너디스크의 대응면에 접촉되면서 탄성변형되며, 아웃터디스크 및 인너디스크가 밀착되어서 다판클러치에 제동력이 발생되면 탄성변형된 탄성변형부가 인너디스크에 밀착되면서 별도의 마찰력을 더 부가하게 된다. 그러므로 자중강하전환유닛의 다판클러치가 제동되면 아웃터디스크 및 인너디스크가 밀착되면서 1차로 제동되고, 마찰력증대링의 탄성변형부가 인너디스크에 탄성적으로 밀착되면서 2차로 제동되므로 수문의 전동 구동 또는 수동 구동 상태에서 수문의 자중강하가 확실하게 방지되며 이에 따라 안전사고를 예방할 수 있다.
