    • PURPOSE: An antenna system for receiving signals from satellites and a method for driving the same are provided to detect a satellite easily by controlling the azimuth and positive angle of the antenna. CONSTITUTION: An antenna system comprises an antenna unit(100) and a body(200). An antenna unit receives a satellite signal. The antenna unit comprises a main reflector, a sub reflector(130), a horn antenna(120), and an LNB(Low Noise Block)(140). The main reflector centers the electromagnetic wave from the satellite on a focus. The sub antenna re-reflects the focused electromagnetic wave with the main reflector. The horn antenna receives the electromagnetic wave reflected by the main reflector. The LNB processes a signal from the horn antenna, and the body supports the antenna unit.
