摘要： A stripper for an optical cable is disclosed. The stripper for an optical cable comprises: a rotational shaft; a first body coupled with the rotational shaft, which includes a first cutting unit which is located at an upper side of the rotational shaft and has a first cutting blade, a first handle located at a lower side of the rotational shaft, and a first neck unit which is located between the rotational shaft and the first handle; a second body coupled with the rotational shaft to cross the first body, which includes a second cutting unit which is located at the upper side of the rotational shaft, has a second cutting blade, and faces the first cutting unit, a second handle which is located at the lower side of the rotational shaft and faces the first handle, a second body which includes a second neck unit located between the rotational shaft and the second handle and facing the first neck unit; and a spring which is coupled with the first body and the second body and keeps the first and the second bodies away from each other by a predetermined distance during a normal state. In order to remove a coating of the optical cable, one or more cutting grooves with different sizes are formed on the first cutting blade and the second cutting blade. In order to cut a yarn of the optical cable, a plurality of sawteeth are formed on the first cutting blade along a longitudinal direction of the first cutting blade.
