    • A coating method of a photochromic dye is provided to develop sufficient photochromism by improving low solubility of a photochromic dye markedly and increase durability of a coated surface such as a color-retaining life. A coating method of a photochromic dye includes the steps of: (B-1) preparing a first composition comprising methylenechloride, xylene, a photochromic dye, an antioxidant, and a photostabilizer in a weight ratio of 5-15 : 10-20 : 1-20 : 0.1-5 : 0.1-5; (B-2) preparing a second composition comprising methylethylketone, n-hexane, and toluene in a weight ratio of 20-40 : 1-10 : 20-40; (B-3) mixing 100 parts by weight of a urethane resin paint, 30-45 parts by weight of a mixture obtained by mixing the first composition and the second composition in a weight ratio of 0.5:1-1:0.5, and 15-30 parts by weight of a hardener; and (B-4) coating an object with the mixture of the step (B-3) in a spindle manner, hardening the coated mixture at 60-70 °C for 10-15 minutes, and drying the coated mixture for 1-10 minutes.

    • Provided are a method for coating a photochromic dye to improve photochromism by increasing the solubility of a photochromic dye, and a photochromic product coated by the method. A method comprises the steps of mixing 30-40 wt% of a natural drying acrylic liquid (A) obtained by dissolving 0-50 wt% of polymethyl methacrylate having a weight average molecular weight of 500,000-8,000,000 in a ketone-based solvent, 40-45 wt% of a natural drying acrylic liquid (A) obtained by dissolving 10-50 wt% of polymethyl methacrylate having a weight average molecular weight of 1,000-300,000 in a ketone-based solvent, 3-7 wt% of a silver pigment, 3-7 wt% of a pearl silver pigment, 2-5 wt% of methylisobutylketone, 0.5-3 wt% of ethyl ester, 0.5-4 wt% of a precipitation preventer, 0.01-1 wt% of a levelling agent and optionally 1-5 wt% of an aromatic component to prepare a base; mixing 1-10 wt% of methylene chloride, 2-20 wt% of a photochromic dye, 0.1-5 wt% of an antioxidizing agent, 0.1-2 wt% of a photostabilizer, 0.1-5 wt% of a pigment dispersant, 5-10 wt% of ethyl acetate, 10-15 wt% of xylene, 10-30 wt% of methylethylketone, 5-20 wt% of acetone, 5-10 wt% of toluene and 5-20 wt% of n-hexane to prepare a main solvent; mixing 100 parts by weight of the base, 40-50 parts by weight of the main solvent, 25-35 parts by weight of an aromatic compound-based sub-solvent, and 70-80 parts by weight of an ester-based solvent, and stirring it with 500-700 rpm for 10-20 min; and spin coating it by a thickness of 15-29 micrometers, curing it at 60-80 deg.C for 5-10 min, and drying it.
