    • PURPOSE: A chemical vapor infiltration apparatus is provided to heat from the first surface of a porous molded body to the second surface of the body at high temperature and to simultaneously infiltrate a reactive gas from the second surface to the first surface, thereby uniformly and quickly filling a matrix material inside the body. CONSTITUTION: A chemical vapor infiltration apparatus includes a container(100), heat generating bodies(210,220), a gas jetting duct(300), and a gas feeding unit. The heat generating bodies are mutually separated at a distance inside the container, and generate heat. The gas jetting duct is placed between the heat generating bodies which are adjacent to each other, and jets a gas. The gas feeding unit feeds the gas to the gas jetting duct. A molded body(F) is placed between the heating bodies and the gas jetting duct, and one surface of the body faces the heating bodies and the other surface opposite to the one surface of the body faces the gas jetting duct.

    • PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a heat-resistant composite is provided to cut down the manufacturing time, improve product quality, and maintain resistance and durability at higher than 2000deg.C. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a heat-resistant composite comprises the steps of: manufacturing a molded body; infiltrating a mixture of liquefied phenol and metal silicon powder into the molded body; solidifying the infiltrated mixed solution; producing silicon carbide by paralyzing the mixed solution; Infiltrating a pitch to the molded product in which silicon carbide has produced from; heat-treating the molded product in which the pitch has infiltrated; infiltrating a silane group polymer into the heat-treated molded product if the density of the heat-treated molded product is less than the standard density; and producing silicon carbide by infiltrating the metal silicon to the molded product in which the silane group polymer is infiltrated or not infiltrated.
