摘要： PURPOSE: An opening-closing device for a manuscript compression plate and an office device are provided to change an actuating direction of compressive pressure added on a stopper plate attached to a rear plate of an attachment member or a click friction plate when the manuscript compression plate is opened completely. CONSTITUTION: An opening-closing device(B) for a manuscript compression plate comprises an attachment base(1a) and both plates(1b). The both plates are protruded in the surface more than both sides of the attachment base. A supporting member(2) is rotatably connected to the both plates of an attachment member(1) by hinge pins(3). The supporting member includes a rear plate and both lateral plates which are bent more than the rear plate. Connecting pins are fitted into free-ends of the both lateral plates so that the both lateral plates are rotatable in a direction different from a rotating direction of the supporting member. The manuscript compression plate is attached by a lift member(6).
