    • The present invention relates to an expansion joint of a pipe with double packing. The expansion joint comprises: a slip pipe; and a stuffing box having a sliding surface such that the outer periphery surface of the slip pipe slips, and provided with a groove for watertight packing, to which a packing member for water leak protection is mounted, at a predetermined position on the sliding surface. The packing member (40) has upper and lower protruding portions (401, 402) at the front of the rectangular section thereof, wherein the upper protruding portion (401) protrudes longer than the lower protruding portion (402). An internal pressure forming groove (404) is formed between the upper and lower protruding portions (401, 402). A plurality of packing member (40) having, on the upper surface thereof, a support groove (403) supported by a protruding line (38) of a groove for watertight packing (31) faces the groove for watertight packing (31) of the stuffing box (30) to be mounted thereto, thereby allowing an inner packing member (40) to form internal pressure to block a fluid in the pipe, and an outer packing member (40) to expand the internal pressure with a secondarily leaked fluid in the internal pressure forming groove (404) to improve airtightness.

The ring shaped groove is formed to have constant width (W1) on outer circumferential surface of a connecting unit in a drainpipe (12) of the other side and outer circumferential surface of a connecting unit in a drainpipe (11) of one side. The water leak blocking ring is formed to have a gap to move in the specific distance to the shaft direction. The water leak blocking ring has smaller width (W2) than the width of the ring shaped groove. The connecting socket is connected to a semicircular structure. The connecting socket is adhered to the outer circumferential surface of the water leak blocking ring. The cylindrical packing has the diameter such as internal diameter of a pair of connecting sockets in a connecting section of one side drainpipe and the other side drainpipe.
