    • PURPOSE: A scanning display device and a tremble compensating device using the same are provided to achieve a stable image by controlling a rotation angle of a scanner in accordance with a detected moving amount of the scanner and compensating for the tremble in the scanner. A scanner(30) reflects and scans an incident light emitted from the optical system and projects the image on a projection area. A sensing unit(310) detects the movement of the optical system or the scanner. A control unit(300) moves the projection area of the scanner in an opposite direction to the detected movement direction by using the detected movement value. The sensing unit detects the change of acceleration and angular velocity due to a device in which a scanner is installed.

A location error value which is the difference between actual position data and target location data in the laser enable section is calculated. When the location error value is greater than the critical value which is the reference for determining whether the scanner malfunctions, the malfunction of the scanner is processed.
