    • PURPOSE: An illuminating lens is provided to minimize light loss by centering light which is emitted from the light emitting diode through a reflecting mirror. CONSTITUTION: Light, which is incident to the second round part(122b) of an incident plane(122), is advanced to a reflecting member(140). The light which is entered to the second round part comes out to an exit plane(124) at the bottom surface of the reflecting member. An incident light is condensed to the central side of the lateral side of a lens body(120) with a bent part(142) which is formed in the end part of reflecting member. The reflecting member performs the function of condensing the light. The shape of the incident plane and the exit plane of the lens body are simplified. The mass production of an illuminating lens is improved by simplifying the shape of an incident part and an exit part in the lens body.

    • A computer system and a control method thereof are provided to minimize power consumption in a dual channel memory structure, and maximize life of a battery by restricting performance of a memory when an application not restricted by memory performance is executed in a portable computer system applying the dual channel memory system. A PSU(Power Supply Unit)(140) supplies power to a plurality of memory units(120). A CPU(110) controls power supply to the memory units by cutting off the power supplied to at least one memory corresponding to a lower power mode among the memory units when a lower power mode is selected by a user. The CPU stores user setting information for selection of the lower power mode to a setting storing part(180) and determines the selection of the lower power mode based on the user setting information stored in the setting storing part when a computer system is booted. A graphic processor(190) generator generates a UI(User Interface) and a display unit(191) displays the generated UI. The CPU enables the UI generator to display a selection state of the lower power mode on the UI. A user input part(170) includes at least one button for selecting the lower power mode.

    • PURPOSE: A traffic information system using an image detector and a method thereof are provided, which receives vehicle information per traffic lane and local traffic information through a wireless channel from the image detector and generate traffic condition information and a traffic signal light control signal. CONSTITUTION: According to the traffic information system(100), more than one image input units(110) photograph traveling vehicles per traffic lane on a road and then transmit digital image data in real time. More than one traffic controllers(120) control a number of traffic signal lights(122) by being connected to the traffic signal lights. More than one image detectors(130) are connected to the image input unit and the traffic controller, and compress the digital image data from the image input unit and process the digital image data and analyze the digital image data, and extract vehicle information per traffic lane including the number and speeds and distances between vehicles of traveling vehicles, and transmit the compressed digital image data and the vehicle information per traffic lane wirelessly, and transfer the traffic signal light control signal to the traffic controller. And a traffic information analyzer(140) receives the image data and the vehicle information per traffic lane from the image detectors, and generates traffic condition information, and generates the traffic signal light control signal corresponding to the traffic condition information and then transmits it to the image detectors.

    • PURPOSE: A tungsten chemical vapor deposition process and a method for forming a tungsten plug are provided to prevent fluorine ions produced during the tungsten deposition process from reacting on a barrier layer. CONSTITUTION: The deposition process is characterized by supplying a silane gas(SiH4) to upper and edge sides of a wafer(110) before the deposition of tungsten and then forming a silicon passivation layer(146) on the upper and edge sides of the wafer(110) to prevent penetration of fluorine ions into the barrier layers(142,144) in a succeeding process. The forming method of the tungsten plug includes forming a hole in an insulating layer on the wafer(110), then sequentially coating the barrier layers(142,144) over a resultant structure, then forming the silicon passivation layer(146) on the barrier layers(142,144) by supplying the silane gas, then forming tungsten seeds on the wafer(110) by supplying a tungsten fluoride gas with the silane gas, and then depositing tungsten on the wafer(110) with the tungsten seeds by supplying the tungsten fluoride gas with a hydrogen gas so as to sufficiently fill the hole.
