    • A voltage regulator is provided to compensate for phases regardless of load conditions by setting the gain of a phase compensation signal, which is fed back to an error amplifier, based on an output voltage. A voltage regulator having a phase compensation circuit includes first, second, and third transistors(34,44,45), an output transistor(14), a resistor(31), a constant current source(47), division voltage circuits(11,12), a capacitor(32), a reference voltage source(10), and an error amplifier(20). A gate of the first transistor is connected to an output of the error amplifier and a source thereof is connected to a source voltage. A gate of the output transistor is connected to the output of the error amplifier, a source thereof is connected to the source voltage, and a drain thereof is connected to an output terminal. A gate of the second transistor is connected to a gate of the third transistor and a source thereof is connected to a drain of the first transistor. A source of the third transistor is connected to the output terminal, and a gate and the drain thereof are connected each other. The resistor is formed between a drain of the second transistor and the ground. The constant current source is formed between the drain of the third transistor and the ground. The division voltage circuits are formed between the output terminal and the ground. The capacitor is formed between the drain of the first transistor and an output of the division voltage circuits. A first terminal of the error amplifier is connected to an output of the reference voltage source and a second terminal thereof is connected to an output of the division voltage circuits.

The regulation of a voltage signal according to the present invention is carried out by utilizing one or more HFEVRs of the invention which comprise a coil magnetically coupled to an electromagnet, wherein said HFEVRs are connected to the primary and/or secondary coil(s) of a voltage transformer via their coils, and wherein the voltage over the primary and/or secondary coil(s) of said transformer is regulated by adjusting the value of the reactive resistance of said coils of said HFEVRs by suitable control signal provided to the their electromagnets.
