    • PURPOSE: A hydrogenated modified polymer, its preparation method and a composition containing the polymer are provided, to improve the impact resistance, the strength, the adhesive strength, the appearance, the heat resistance, the tensile elongation, the insulation, the low temperature characteristic and the flexibility. CONSTITUTION: The hydrogenated modified polymer is obtained by hydrogenating the modified polymer having at least one primary amine group and/or at least one secondary amine group in a conjugated diene-based polymer obtained by the anion polymerization of a conjugated diene or a conjugated diene and other conjugated diene. Preferably the method comprises the steps of polymerizing a conjugated diene or a conjugated diene and other conjugated diene in an inert organic solvent in the presence of an organic alkali metal compound as a polymerization initiator; adding an alkoxysilane compound to the obtained conjugated diene-based polymer to terminate the polymerization reaction; and hydrogenating the obtained polymer. Preferably the polymerization initiator is at least one organic alkali metal compound represented by the formulas 1 and 2, wherein R¬1 and R¬2 are a trialkylsilyl group of C3-C18, or one of the two is a trialkylsilyl group and the other is an alkyl group of C1-C20, an aryl group of C6-C20, an aralkyl group of C7-C20 or an organosiloxy group of C1-C100; R¬3 is an alkylene group of C1-C20 or an alkylidene group of C1-C20; and R¬4 is an alkyl group of C1-C20, an aryl group of C6-C20, an aralkyl group of C7-C20 or an organosiloxy group of C1-C100.
