    • PURPOSE: A method for controlling a data rate in a high speed data transmission system is provided to inform an AT(Access Terminal) of a channel state by an AP(Access Point), and to synthetically predict all states of forward and reverse channels in the AT, thereby selecting an optimal data rate. CONSTITUTION: An AP(100) and an AT(200) exchange a pilot channel and an MAC channel(S601). The AP(100) predicts a reverse channel condition, and continuously updates a predicated value(S602), then continuously informs the AT(200) of the predicted channel condition(S603). The AT(200) continuously updates a C/I(Carrier/Interference) value based on the predicted value(S604), and predicts an optimal data rate, then determines a DRC(Data Rate Control) channel and an RRI(Reverse Rate Indicator)(S605). The AT(200) continuously requests to transmit data at an optimal rate(S606), and transmits an access channel with the use of a lower rate by one step(S607). The AT(200) transmits the data at an original rate, shows the rate on an RRI channel, and informs the AP(100) of the rate(S608).
构成:AP(100)和AT(200)交换导频信道和MAC信道(S601)。 AT(200)基于预测值持续更新C / I(载波/干扰)值(S604),并预测最佳数据速率,然后确定DRC(数据速率控制)信道和RRI(反向速率指示符 )(S605)。

    • PURPOSE: A method for using a TAPU board of a DSLAM(Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexer) is provided to alternately give priorities to 2 duplexing TAPU boards, and to enable either one of the TAPUs having a priority to process data, thereby using both the TAPU boards without a waiting TAPU board. CONSTITUTION: If a command is received in a cell multiplexer by an operator, the cell multiplexer transmits the command to either of 2 TAPU boards having a priority(S10,S12). The TAPU board processes the command. If shared data stored in a BMP(Backup Management Process) is changed, the TAPU board having the priority requests shared data synchronization of a waiting TAPU board(S16,S18). The waiting TAPU board receiving the shared data synchronization request changes the shared data according to the request, and informs the TAPU board having the priority that the shared data is normally changed(S20,S22).

    • PURPOSE: A method for changing a voice data rate of an IMT-2000 network is provided to offer a QoS according to a radio environment by changing a vocoding rate as requested based on a change in the radio environment. CONSTITUTION: When a call setup request is received from a subscriber, a talking path is set among an RNC(Radio Network Controller), an MSC(Mobile Switching Center) and an IWU(Inter Working Unit)(S10). An IuUP(User Plane Protocol) between the RNC and the MSC and NbUP between the MSC and the IWU are initialized(S12,S14). A voice data with a highest rate value among various RFCI(Radio access bearer sub Flow Combination Indicator) values set during the initialization process is transmitted and received between the RNC/MSC/IWU(S16). If a radio section environment is changed, the RNC generates a UP-control frame requesting a vocoding rate change(S18,S20). The UP control frame is transmitted to an AAL2(ATM Adaptation Layer) processor of the IWU, and the AAL2 processor detects a UP-type 14 RC(Rate Control) frame(S22,S24). The AAL2 processor transfers the UP-type 14 RC frame to a vocoder through a different path from a voice path(S26). The vocoder checks a content of the UP type 14 RC frame and judges whether a vocoding rate to be changed is an acceptable rate in the vocoder(S28,S30). If the vocoding rate to be changed is an acceptable rate, the vocoder changes the vocoding rate, generates an ACK UP frame and transfers it to the AAL2 processor(S32). AAL2 processor converts the ACK UP frame into a UP-type 14 RC ACK/NAK frame, converts it into an ATM(Asynchronous Transfer Mode) cell and transfers it to the RNC(S36). The RNC and the IWU transmits and receives a voice data at the changed vocoding rate(S38).
构成:当从用户接收到呼叫建立请求时,在RNC(无线电网络控制器),MSC(移动交换中心)和IWU(交互工作单元)之间设置通话路径(S10)。

    • PURPOSE: A device for displaying connections of a DSL transmission device is provided to distinguish LEDs showing each group of subscribers from LEDs showing connected states of the subscribers of the groups, thereby confirming connected states of maximum subscribers with minimal LEDs. CONSTITUTION: 8 LEDs for displaying connected states of subscribers are mounted on an ADSL board(30). Upper 4 LEDs(LED8-LED5) display 16 subscriber groups. Lower 4 LEDs(LED4-LED1) display connected states of 4 subscribers included in each subscriber group. The upper 4 LEDs(LED8-LED5) are connected to a signal generator(40).
