    • PURPOSE: A component feeding apparatus for feeding an electronic component to a pick-up position is provided to transfer an electronic component without using a transferring gear corresponding to a narrow transferring interval. CONSTITUTION: A sprocket(79) is used for transferring intermittently a storage tape. The sprocket and a transferring gear(78) are supported by the same shaft in order to be rotated simultaneously. A transferring lever(76) is supported movably. The first transferring pawl(77A) and the second transferring pawl(77B) are attached to the transferring lever. The first and the second transferring pawl are alternately coupled to the transferring gear in order to rotate the transferring gear as much as by a half tooth pitch whenever the transferring lever is moved to the predetermined direction.

    • PURPOSE: A tape transfer unit and a carrier tape feeder having the same are provided to enhance the durability of the carrier tape feeder by preventing the vibration due to a slipping phenomenon of a tape. CONSTITUTION: A tape transfer unit includes a frame(1), a first gear unit(270), and a second gear unit(300). The first gear unit(270) includes a transfer gear, a ring-shaped contact plate, a first elastic member, a driving member, and a slip bush. The transfer gear has a ring-shaped lateral part and a circumference part close to a tape. The ring-shaped contact plate includes an anti-rotation part and is installed within the circumference part of the transfer gear. The first elastic member is inserted between the transfer gear and the contact plate. The driving member has the same rotary shaft as the transfer gear. The driving member is rotated relatively to the transfer gear. The slip bush is arranged to an opposite side of the driving member between the transfer gear and the contact plate. The second gear unit(300) includes a gear having teeth corresponding to teeth formed on the circumference part of the transfer gear.

    • PURPOSE: A surface mounting apparatus is provided to simultaneously mount parts on two or more PCBs(printed circuit boards) to improve productivity. CONSTITUTION: A surface mounting apparatus comprises a first transfer(20), a first conveyer(30), a second conveyer(40), a first and a second linear power transmission devices(35,45), and a second transfer(50). The first transfer(20) moves in X-Y plane for transferring stored PCBs. The first conveyer(30) positions the PCBs from the first transfer(20) at part mount locations and ejects the PCBs after mounting. The second conveyer(40) positions the PCBs received selectively from the first transfer(20) and the first conveyer(30) at part mount locations. The first and the second linear power transmission devices(35,45) generate driving force for moving the first and the second conveyers(30,40). The second transfer(50) moves in X-Y plane for ejecting the PCBs received selectively from the first and the second conveyers(30,40).
