    • PURPOSE: A cell unit for a fuel cell and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to reduce contact resistance between the anode and the cathode and the current collector, thereby reducing the overall size of the fuel cell by reducing the required thickness of the end plate. CONSTITUTION: A cell unit for a fuel cell, comprises: an electrolyte membrane; an electrode unit(120), comprising an anode(122) being formed on one surface of the electrolyte membrane and a cathode(124) being formed on the other surface of the electrolyte membrane; a current collector(140), being stacked on the electrode unit to be electrically connected to the electrode unit; and a conductive layer(130), being interposed between the electrode unit and the current collector to reduce a contact resistance between the electrode unit and the current collector.

    • A monopolar membrane electrode assembly is provided to lower resistance, thereby increasing battery efficiency, to inhibit the leakage of water generated at a cathode, to allow the amount of fuel supplied to an anode to be controlled, to prevent the leakage of liquid fuel and to improve the circulation of fuel. A monopolar membrane electrode assembly comprises an electrolyte membrane(110) having a plurality of cell regions; a catalyst layer(111,112) which are formed at the cell regions at the both surface of the electrolyte; an anode support and a cathode support where a plurality of first aperture parts(114a,116a) corresponding to the cell regions and a plurality of second aperture parts(114b,116b) related with the cell regions are formed at the both surfaces of the electrolyte membrane; a plurality of anode current collectors(120) and a plurality of cathode current collectors(160) which are installed at the cell regions, respectively on the supports; a plurality of anodes(130) and a plurality of cathodes which are installed on the anode current collectors and the cathode current collectors, respectively; a current collection part which collects the current of the cell regions; and a conducting part which is connected with the one side of the current collection part, wherein the terminal(162a) of the conducting part of the cathode current collectors is electrically connected in serial with the terminal(122a) of the conducting part of the anode current collectors through the second aperture, and the current collection part has a porosity of 20-70 %.
