    • PURPOSE: A press hardening method consisting of series processing and an apparatus thereof are provided to reduce manufacturing costs since a separate tool for re-hating, cooling and winding a hot rolled steel sheet is not necessary. CONSTITUTION: A hot rolled steel sheet is manufactured by making molten steel in a slab and rolling after heating. The hot rolled steel sheet is transferred through a seal oven(M) to a blank. The hot rolled steel sheet is conveyed to press dies(P1,P2,P3) to be pressed. The blanking of the hot rolled steel sheet is performed inside the seal oven using hot air from an electric furnace. The internal temperature of the seal oven maintains by 1000~1200°C. The steel sheet pressure-molded in a press-hardening process is cooled to be martensite.

    • A reheating furnace body structure with improved thermal efficiency is provided to improve thermal efficiency of the reheating furnace as a whole by increasing radiation area and gas residence time having an effect on thermal efficiency, thereby increasing temperature of a body of a reheating furnace. A reheating furnace body structure with improved thermal efficiency comprises: an outer layer member provided at an outer side of a reheating furnace; a refractory layer formed on an inner side of the outer layer member; and a surface curved refractory layer formed on an inner side of the refractory layer to increase radiation area or gas residence time. A reheating furnace body structure with improved thermal efficiency comprises: an outer layer member provided at an outer side of a reheating furnace; a refractory layer formed on an inner side of the outer layer member; a refractory structure formed on an inner side of the refractory layer to increase radiation area or gas residence time; and a surface curved refractory layer formed on at least a portion of the refractory structure to increase radiation area or gas residence time by cooperating with the refractory structure. The refractory layer includes at least two layers of fire brick(30), or the fire brick and a castable layer(40).

    • An apparatus for cooling a bearing of a slab transferring roll adjacent to a furnace is provided to prevent grease fed to both a bearing housing and a bearing from being degraded by surrounding the bearing with a bearing cooling unit. An apparatus for cooling a bearing(134) slab transferring roll(130) adjacent to a furnace comprises a cooling unit(10). The cooling unit surrounds the bearing to prevent the bearing from being damaged due to heat transferred through milled material or the furnace. The cooling unit includes a first cooling portion(50) and a second cooling portion(70). The first cooling portion is mounted on a base block to surround the top of the bearing. The second cooling portion is mounted on the rear part of the base block to surround the rear part of the bearing.
