    • PURPOSE: An emergency charging apparatus and a method for an electric vehicle or a hybrid electric vehicle are provided to charge a battery through different power supply units. CONSTITUTION: An emergency charging switch(120) is formed on an emergency charge power line(110) and selectively opens and closes a charging path. A voltage converting module is arranged in the emergency charge power line and converts the voltage of the emergency charge power into the charging voltage of the battery pack for a vehicle. An emergency charging sensing line(140) is connected to the emergency charge power line and transmits the supply sensing signal of the emergency charging power to a control module(150). If the supply of the emergency charge power is detected, the control module turns off a charge control switch and a discharge control switch and turns on the emergency charge switch to provide emergency charge power to a battery cell.

    • PURPOSE: A battery transferring apparatus and a method are provided to allow an electric car and a hybrid vehicle to automatically receive driving power from an auxiliary battery by mounting the auxiliary battery. CONSTITUTION: In a battery transferring apparatus and a method, an auxiliary power line(110) provides an auxiliary power route. The auxiliary power route transfers a driving power of the auxiliary battery to a motor. An auxiliary power switch(120) selectively opens and closes the auxiliary power route. The auxiliary battery sense line(130) transmits the connection sensing signal of the auxiliary battery to a control module. A control module(140) turns on the auxiliary power switch and supplies the driving power of the auxiliary battery to the motor.
