    • PURPOSE: A system for measuring the taste of cooked rice is provided to reduce costs and measurement time by measuring the taste of cooked rice through sensory analysis using infrared ray. CONSTITUTION: A system for measuring the taste of cooked rice comprises a case(100), a lighting-emitting part, a light receiving part, and a microprocessor. The case blocks the influence of the external light on a sample. The case comprises a sample plate(110), a condensing lens(120), and an optical fiber(130). Sample cooked rice(200) is placed on the sample plate. The condensing lens focuses lights on the cooked rice and concentrates the light reflected from the sample cooked rice. The optical fiber transfers the light. The lighting-emitting part focuses visible ray composite ray on the sample cooked rice. The light receiving part collects the light reflected from the sample cooked rice. The microprocessor calculates the taste of cooked rice by analyzing the strength for each wavelength.
