A gas holder of restoring apparatus for waste plastic to oil comprises: a tank body for receiving cooling water; a backward flow prevention unit(400) on which a safety valve is installed and a collection pipe(420) is extended from the residual gas pipe(640) toward the bottom side of the tank body(410). The gas holder is characterized by collecting residual plastic gas in water through the outlet(406) which is installed on the upper part of the tank body, preventing residual plastic gas from flowing backward to a heating tank, discharging prepared gas into air or returning prepared gas as extra heating source of a heating tank.

    • A heating tank mounted at an oil restoring apparatus of a waste plastic is provided to heat the plastic, using minimum energy, by placing the heating tank in an insulating chamber, heating the waste plastic, and applying vibration by boiling of the molten plastic. A heating tank(100) mounted at an oil restoring apparatus of a waste plastic(ps) comprises an outer cylinder(110), an inner cylinder(120), and a vibration plate(130). The outer cylinder has an upper side with a plastic gas discharging port(102), an overpressure plastic gas discharging port(104), and a wax discharging port(106), and one side with a blocking door(112) which is opened and closed. The inner cylinder, which is installed in the outer cylinder, is connected with the plastic gas discharging port, the overpressure plastic gas discharging port, and the wax discharging port. A lower surface of the vibration plate is separated from an inner peripheral surface of the inner cylinder in a predetermined gap. The heating tank, which is placed in an insulation chamber, discharges a plastic gas generated by heating/liquidizing/gasifying the waste plastic at less than combustion temperature. The molten plastic is agitated by applying vibration by boiling of a molten plastic(pl) which is flowed in a space between the vibration plate and an inner peripheral surface of the inner cylinder.

    • A process of recycling used sulphur-cured elastomeric materials comprising masticating the said elastomeric materials at temperatures below 40.degree.C with a chemical paste which is capable of initiating proton exchange in a controlled manner and thereby open up or delink the vulcanised network of the elastomeric materials. The chemical paste is made from the zinc salt of dimethydithiocarbamate and mercaptobenzothiazole in the molar ratio in the range of 1:1 to 1:12 dispersed in diols and in the presence of stearic acid, zinc oxide and sulphur. This mixture, which may be termed the 'paste', when blended with tyre crumbs or any other vulcanised crumbs in concentrations of 6 parts binder per 100 parts of rubber crumbs on a mill effectively delinks the vulcanised network and renders the compound ready for moulding and vulcanization. The total milling period, which occurs at temperatures below 40.degree.C, takes only 7 to 10 minutes. Alternatively, the binder and tyre crumbs could be first mixed in an intermix and subsequently milled in an open mill. The obtained recycled rubber compounds display satisfactory level of physical and dynamic characteristics. Such compounds can be directly used in moulded goods or in admixture with fresh compounds in tyres and related areas.
