    • The present invention relates to an additional information providing system of each real-time broadcast channel and a controlling method thereof in order to enhance the user experience of content and dramatically improve user convenience by automatically analyzing the image and audio content of a broadcast that a user watches through various user terminals (a smartphone, a tablet PC, a laptop, a set-top box, etc.) which are connected to internet in real time and providing additional information related to the watched broadcast. The present invention: receives real-time broadcast information which is transmitted from a broadcast transmission system which transmits a broadcast according to channels in real time; receives real-time watching information from a user terminal of a user who watches the real-time broadcast which is broadcasted in real time; compares data which extracts at least one of pattern information between the image and audio of the real-time watching information which is transmitted from the user terminal with data which extracts at least one of the pattern information between the image and audio of the real-time broadcast information of total channels which are transmitted from the broadcast transmission system; transmits broadcasting guide information which includes channel information of the real-time broadcast information which corresponds to the real-time watching information and mapping information of a multicast IP address about the channel information; receives content request information including URL information of a broadcast which corresponds to the user terminal which receives the broadcasting guide information; and transmits content information which corresponds to the URL information of the corresponding broadcast to the user terminal.
