The border of the nonwoven fabric(10) is fixed on the external surface of the upper end of the top pile(1) with a fixing nail(24).

    • PURPOSE: A core base with expandable bottom end and an installation method thereof are provided to improve the pulling support force of a core base and to reduce construction costs for a tower base. CONSTITUTION: A core base with expandable bottom end comprises a sphere part(30), a main body part(40), and rock bolts(32). The sphere part comprises a main reinforcing bar and a circular reinforcing bar and is located in the excavated surface of the ground. The main body part is integrally formed and protruded on the top of the sphere part and coupled to the bottom part of a transmission tower frame. The rock bolts are protruded at regular intervals on the lower circumference of the expanded sphere part. The pulling supporting force is reinforced by increasing the bottom height of the sphere part in the longitudinal direction of the core base.
