A method for raising the temperature of salt water when refining salt, and the like comprises: immersing a boiler(1) in salt water and immersing a buoyant container(3) by half; feeding gas or oil in the boiler through a gas or oil hose(4); igniting a burner(2) by opening a valve(6); producing air through a combustion outlet(7); and allowing air to flow into the boiler through an air inlet(5) by a ventilating fan at the end of a combustion outlet, wherein the ignition boiler and the buoyant container are covered with copper plate. The boiler is immersed in salt water, therefore the heat on the boiler is transferred directly to the water.

    • PURPOSE: A method for introducing water from a lower place to a higher place by using a vacuum is provided to pump great amount of water using little energy by utilizing a vacuum pump. CONSTITUTION: A first tank(1) is filled up with water. A tube(7) is provided in a second tank(3). A vacuum pump(4) is installed in the tube(7). The tube is closely attached to the second tank(3). Air contained in the tube(7) is exhausted by the vacuum pump(4) so that a vacuum is created between the tube(7) and the second tank(3). Thus, water contained in the first tank(1) is introduced between the second tank(3) and the tube(7). A check valve(2) is provided so as to prevent water from flowing back. Valves(5,6) are opened in order to horizontally move water contained in the tank(1) to an exterior.

Water is moved up into a right pipe in discharging air, and the tank is filled with water. The valve is closed in filling the tank with water, and water is drained from the tank by opening valves(5,6). The water level is increased by pumping air out with turning the propeller. Power is generated by pumping water up below 10 meter and dropping water.
