    • PURPOSE: A method for setting a splitting ratio and an allocation ratio in a life cycle assessment is provided to increase an accuracy of a calculation result by setting a splitting ratio in the case that an identical use material is entered to a specific process according to flow relations and by setting an allocation ratio in the case that different result materials are output to different processes from a specific process in executing a calculation automatically as a wanted numeral with respect to each process on a computer. CONSTITUTION: Use materials and result materials with respect to 'A', 'B', 'C', 'D', 'E', 'F', and 'G' processes are checked. In each process, it is checked whether a use material of a corresponding process is a result material of a certain process and a result material of a corresponding process is a use material of a certain process. A connecting relation is decided according to the results. If the 'G' process which the final result material is decided as most significant rank('0'), the 'E' and 'F' processes which are connected to the 'G' process are decided as the lower rank('1'). The 'D' and 'H' processes which are connected to the 'E' and 'F' processes are decided as the next lower rank('2'). The 'B' and 'C' processes which are connected to the 'D' and 'H' processes are decided as the next lower rank('3'). The 'A' process which is connected to the 'B' and 'C' processes are decided as the next lower rank('4'). It is checked whether an identical use material is supplied from over two input lines or an identical result material is supplied from over two output lines. If an identical use material is supplied from over two input lines or an identical result material is supplied from over two output lines, an inherent number and a direction of the corresponding process are stored and an input of a splitting ratio is requested to a person in charge, and a batch processing is executed.
