    • A power supply circuit of an AC-DC converter is provided to reduce power consumption by turning on a switch in case an AC input voltage is lower than a reference voltage. A primary side of a rectifier(20) is coupled in an AC power supply. A secondary side of the rectifier is coupled in a DC power supply. A detecting circuit(30) includes a first switch and a voltage divider. The voltage divider obtains a DC voltage divided of the DC power supply in the secondary side of the rectifier. In case the divided DC voltage is lower than a turn on voltage of the first switch, the voltage divider connects the divided DC voltage to a control panel of the first switch in order to turn off the first switch. A switching circuit(40) includes a second switch, a first zener diode, and a second resistor. One end of the second resistor is connected to the secondary side of the rectifier. One end of a voltage controlled capacitor(60) is connected to an output pad of the second switch.

    • An illuminating device and a luminance switching device of the same are provided to previously set luminance values required by light with LEDs(Light Emitting Diodes) each after switching a conversion switch and prevent irregularity of light due to light emitted from adjacent LEDs. An illuminating device includes an LED(Light Emitting Diode) light source(110), a conversion switch(130), a detection circuit(60), a memory unit(70), and a power conversion circuit(90). The LED light source includes at least one LED(120) and has a plural luminescent state. The conversion switch has a plurality of switching modes corresponding to the luminescent state and switches the luminescent state of the LED light source. The detection circuit is electrically connected to the conversion switch to detect the switching mode of the conversion switch. The memory unit stores luminance values of the LEDs corresponding to the switching mode of the conversion switch, converts the luminance values of the LEDs into luminance control signals, and transmits the luminance control signals to the detection circuit by being electrically connected to the detection circuit. The power conversion circuit receives the luminance control signals transmitted from the detection circuit for the LED light source to generate luminance of the luminescent state corresponding to the switching mode by being electrically connected to the LED light source.

    • PURPOSE: A light-emitting semiconductor device packaged with an LED and a current-driving IC are provided to control accurately the brightness of the LED by providing a constant and preset current. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of LED dice(15,16,17) of at least red, green and blue colors include two electrode contacts. A driver IC chip(19) includes a contact and at least three output ports. An insulating substrate(18) is attached beneath the LED dice and the driver IC chip. A refractive encapsulation material(14) is used for integrally encapsulating the LED dice and the driver IC chip, and refracting the light emitted from the LED dice toward a predetermined direction. One of the electrode contacts of each LED die is connected to a common node by an electrically conducting device. The common node is further connected to one of terminals(11,12,13) of a light-emitting semiconductor device. The contact of the driver IC chip is connected to another terminal of the light-emitting semiconductor device. The LED dice are lit by applying voltage or current to the terminals of the light-emitting semiconductor device. The light-emitting semiconductor device is attached on an application circuit board by adhering the terminals thereon with surface mount technology.
