    • A nonflammable fabric coated with a vermiculite powder according to an aspect of the present invention comprises: a glass fiber composed of fiber glass; and a nonflammable coating agent having noninflammable properties by containing the vermiculite powder. The nonflammable coating agent is coated on one surface or both surfaces of the glass fiber, followed by drying at a temperature of 250±50°C for 10±5 minutes, thereby forming a nonflammable coating layer. Here, the nonflammable coating agent of the present invention is composed of 20 wt% of a vermiculite powder using fine particles having a particle size of 0.01-0.03m/m through pulverization, 10 wt% of an acryl-based binder, 4.7 wt% of an acryl-based thickener, 3 wt% of an acryl-based dispersant, 1.6 wt% of an antimony flame-retardant, and 60.7 wt% of water. The total thickness of the nonflammable fabric is maintained within the range of 0.85-1.1 mm by allowing the glass fiber to have a thickness of 0.7-0.9 mm and the nonflammable coating layer to have a thickness of 0.15-0.2 mm. Thus, as the vermiculite powder is uniformly coated on the fabric, the nonflammable fabric of the present invention has excellent flame retardancy and nonflammable properties, is less deformed by high-temperature heat or flame, and has no contraction and relaxation due to direct and indirect heat, thereby exhibiting excellent physical properties, shape stability, and durability, and simplifying the manufacturing process, and thus improving workability and lowering the overall manufacturing costs, leading to the improvement in productivity.
