    • A counterfeit detector is provided to discriminate evidently truth from falsehood of secret document by illuminating selectively ultraviolet rays having different wavelengths onto the secret document. A counterfeit detector includes a case(10), a reflective plate, and an ultraviolet LED(Light Emitting Diode)(30). The case includes an accommodation space formed therein and an opening for disclosing the accommodation space to the outside. The reflective plate is installed in the accommodation space and is disclosed to the outside through the opening. A plurality of concave individual reflectors(21) are continuously arranged in the reflective plate in order to reflect individually the ultraviolet rays. The ultraviolet LED is arranged in each of the individual reflectors in order to illuminate the secret document.

    • A portable inspecting apparatus for a security printed matter is provided to distinguish the matter accurately by realizing optimal inspecting environment according to a condition of the matter and surrounding environment and assembling an LED lamp and an optical filter variously. A portable inspecting apparatus for a security printed matter includes a housing(10), a magnification lens(14), an optical filter(16), and a plurality of LED lamps(18). An observing hole(12) is formed in the top of the housing. The magnification lens is arranged inside the housing and near the observing hole. The optical filter is installed under the magnification lens. The LED lamps are installed under the optical filter, and emit light to the security printed matter. The LED lamps are consisting of at least two LED lamps among an ultraviolet LED lamp, a color LED lamp, and an infrared LED lamp.

    • PURPOSE: A paper bill forgery detecting apparatus and a method thereof are provided to improve a forgery detecting function by obtaining a fiber pattern of a dollar bill using a specific wavelength. CONSTITUTION: A sensor unit(100) comprises an optical filter(130). The optical filter transmits light of a particular wavelength selectively from light reflected by or transmitted through the paper bill. A database(300) stores a reference pattern value of a genuine paper bill for corresponding light transmitted through the optical filter. A controller(200) compares the pattern value of the data recognized in a light receiving part(120) and the reference pattern value of a bona fide paper bill extracted from the database.
