摘要： The invention relates to a process for the manufacture of an object, curved in one or more directions, from a package of at least one stacked ply containing polymeric fibres by the deforming thereof at elevated temperature, the process comprising imposing on the fibres a tensile stress at a temperature lying between the melting point of the fibres at the imposed tensile stress and 20°C below the melting point, which tensile stress is high enough for the fibres to be drawn. This process allows objects, curved in one or more directions, to be produced from flat fibre plies without appreciable wrinkling using even fibre plies with low internal and/or mutual deformability and without material being drawn into the die in a controlled manner. The invention also relates to an object, curved in one or more directions, obtainable by the process according to the invention.

摘要： PURPOSE: A bulletproof helmet and method for manufacturing the same is provided to improve the bulletproof efficiency of the helmet and reduce the thickness and weight of the helmet. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a bulletproof helmet comprises the steps of: coating uni-direction type ultra high molecular weight polyethylene fiber with thermoplastic resin; cutting and stacking the polyethylene fiber(100) coated with the thermoplastic resin; covering the polyethylene fiber with release films; compressing the polyethylene fiber installed on a mold(200) into the helmet; stacking wing-shaped fabric(400) coated with thermosetting resin and square fabric(401) coated with thermosetting resin to the inside and outside of the helmet.
