    • A communication apparatus having a human body contact sensing function and a communication method thereof are provided to minimize power consumption of a micro processing unit and a transmitter/receiver circuit by inserting a human body contact sensor. An electrode(120) contacts with a human body, and a contact sensor(110) is connected to the electrode. The contact sensor instructs a central processing unit to perform an initial operation if the contact with the human body is sensed. A data processing unit(130) receives a control signal from the central processing unit to select whether to transmit or receive data, and performs a transmitting or receiving operation according to the control signal. The contact sensor instructs the central processing unit to perform the initial operation by sensing direct contact between the human body and the electrode or by sensing the approach of the human body.

      입력신호를 매우 큰 전력을 갖는 신호로 증폭하는 전력증폭기는 시스템 내에서 가장 많은 전력을 소모하게 된다. 본 발명은 듀얼 안테나 다이버시티 송신기 및 시스템에 스위치들을 추가하여 요구되는 송신 출력전력에 따라 전력증폭기에 의해 소모되는 직류 입력전력을 최소로 줄여줌으로써, 효율적인 전력증폭기 운용이 가능하도록 한다.
      본 발명을 적용하면 듀얼 안테나 다이버시티 송신기 및 시스템에서 종래의 고효율 전력증폭기 방식과 비교하여 증폭되는 신호의 선형성을 유지하면서 보다 간단하게 전력증폭기를 효율적으로 운용할 수 있다는 장점이 있다.

    • PURPOSE: A slot antenna is provided to achieve improved gain and radiation efficiency by forming slots on both sides of a dielectric substrate and connecting the slots and ground surfaces through conductor walls or conducting via holes. CONSTITUTION: A slot antenna comprises the first dielectric substrate(101) and the second dielectric substrate(102) laminated on the first dielectric substrate. The first dielectric substrate includes slots(103) formed on upper and lower surfaces of the first dielectric substrate; ground surfaces(104) formed on the upper and lower surfaces of the first dielectric substrate so as to define the slots; and the first connection portion for connecting the ground surfaces formed on the upper and lower surfaces of the first dielectric substrate. The second dielectric substrate includes a feeder line(105) formed at a lower surface of the second dielectric substrate so as to feed electromagnetic field energy; and the second connection portion for connecting the feeder line and the ground surfaces formed at the lower surface of the first dielectric substrate. The first connecting portion and/or the second connecting portion include one or more conducting via holes(106) formed in the dielectric substrates, or conductor walls(107) arranged at side surfaces of the dielectric substrates.

    • A method and an apparatus for transmitting an underwater sound wave are disclosed. The method for transmitting the underwater sound wave comprises a process for generating a sound wave signal and for transmitting the generated sound wave signal under water and simultaneously transmits a compensation signal and the sound wave signal by generating the compensation signal for preventing distortion with the motion of water in an audible frequency band. Therefore, usage convenience is improved because an apparatus for receiving the sound signal is not necessary and a human body is not necessary to directly touch the sound signal transmission apparatus. Even if the human body is continuously moved, the sound wave is effectively transmitted to a user by providing a better touch condition.
