    • PURPOSE: A polyethylenenaphthalate nursing bottle without discharging environmental hormone such as bisphenol A when sterilized in boiling water, transparent and having crack resistance and process for the preparation thereof are provided which have low volume change rate even when sterilized repeatedly in boiling water and can be used for a long period of time. CONSTITUTION: The polyethylenenaphthalate nursing bottle comprises a homo or copolymerized polyethylenenaphthalate resin containing 85 to 100% by mole of polyethylenenaphthalate and 15 to 0% by mole of polyethyleneterephthalate and has a heat deflection temperature of 105 to 125°C, a transparency of above 85% and an impact resistance of 700 to 900 kgcm. The homo or copolymerized polyethylenenaphthalate resin containing 85 to 100% by mole of polyethylenenaphthalate and 15 to 0% by mole of polyethyleneterephthalate is melt injected at 160 to 230°C to produce a preform, which is blow molded in a blow molder at 120 to 180°C to produce the products.

    • PURPOSE: A polyester-based nursing bottle that does not generate endocrine disruption chemicals such as bisphenol-A and has a good repeated heat-resistance, and its preparation method are provided. CONSTITUTION: The polyester-based nursing bottle is made of homo- or copolymeric polyester resin, which is prepared by condensing the acid consisting of 60-100 mol% of naphthalene dicarboxylic acid and 0-40 mol% of terephthalic acid and the glycol consisting of 0-80 mol% of ethylene glycol and 20-100 mol% of cyclohexane dimethanol. Its glass transition temperature is above 120 deg.C and the transparency is above 85%. The nursing bottle is prepared by melting the homo- or copolymeric polyester resin and extruding it at the preform reheating temperature of 160-210 deg.C, the blow molding pressure of 1-10 kgf/cm¬2, and the mold temperature of 140-190 deg.C.

    • PURPOSE: Provided is a process for producing fire-retardant poly butylene terephthalate having excellent fire-retardancy and formability and not generating hazardous material such as dioxin during combustion. CONSTITUTION: The process contains the steps of: preparing oligomers by transesterification of dicarboxylic acid or an ester derivative thereof and a 1,4-butanediol compound; adding 0.5-30pts.wt.(based on the dicarboxylic acid or the ester derivative thereof of 100pts.wt.) of a phosphorous-based fire-retardant agent(formula 1) to the oligomers; performing a polycondensation in the presence of a catalyst selected from manganese acetate, zinc acetate, cobalt acetate, magnesium acetate, sodium acetate, and etc. In the formula, R1 and R2 are identically or differently methyl or butyl containing hydroxyl.
