A lithium secondary battery comprises a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a separator inserted between the positive electrode and the negative electrode.

CONSTITUTION: A cable type secondary battery comprises an inner current collector(10), a negative electrode active material layer(30), a positive electrode active material layer, an electrode assembly expanded to longitudinal direction with the horizontal cross section of a specific shape, and a wire type external current collector(50) winded to the outside of the electrode assembly. The inner current collector is manufactured by stainless steel, aluminum, nickel, titanium, calcined carbon, copper, carbon, nickel, stainless steel surface treated by titanium or silver, aluminum-cadmium alloy, a non-conductive polymer surface treated by conductive material, or a conductive polymer.
