    • PURPOSE: A ray tracing core and a ray tracing processing method are provided to calculate the complexity of a space divided structure and to construct the space divided structure. CONSTITUTION: An RTU(Ray Tracing Unit)(110) performs ray tracing based on a space divided structure. A control unit(120) monitors a load state of the RTU. The control unit calculates the complexity of the space divided structure. A TBU(Tree Build Unit)(130) constructs the space divided structure having the calculated complexity.     • A floating point accumulator apparatus for 3D graphic accelerator, and a processing method thereof are provided to simplify the configuration of the floating point accumulator apparatus without a converting apparatus which converts a floating point into a fixed point. A first input unit(210) receives converted data of which floating point is converted into fixed point, and a second input unit(220) receives fixed point as data. A first table unit(230) has a value generated according to an output signal value of the second input unit, and a first arithmetic unit(240) calculates the output signal value of the first input unit and the data value of the first table unit. A second table unit(250) has a value generated according to the output signal value of the first arithmetic unit, and a second arithmetic unit(260) concatenates the output signal value of the first arithmetic unit and the data value of the second table unit.
