    • Provided is a coal and solid fuel combustion boiler having a step grate stoker, wherein the coal and solid fuel combustion boiler comprises a housing, a combustion chamber, grates, the stoker, and a controller. A plurality of fixed members and moving members between the grates positioned to be stepped on the bottom of the combustion chamber in the housing allowing coal input from coal transferring part to be loaded thereon are fixed to be arranged to be stepped on a combustion chamber frame. The stoker, which is properly installed in the inner space of the housing, quickly transfers ashes loaded on the grates when only the moving members of the arranged members alternately protrude forwards. The housing has a structure in which water filling the combustion chamber frame connected to a water tank on the upper side of the body of the housing by a water pipe exchanges heat with combustion gas and the combustion gas smoothly flows. The controller displays the sensing values of the pressure or temperature in the combustion chamber to the outside through a display using values or graphs, or displays the sensing values by flickering warning lights, and generally controls the electric and the electronic functions of the boiler, wherein the sensing values sensed by a sensor are transmitted to the controller. According to the present invention, the structure of the grates positioned in the boiler have stokers having a fixed member and moving members, wherein the moving members moved forwards and backwards suitable for an operational condition, prevents the generation of clinkers (generated when fuel is matted into masses during combustion) beforehand, quickly transfers the ashes loaded on the grates, and smoothly disposes the ashes, such that large amounts of coal not mixed with the ashes can be distributed in the space of the combustion chamber and the combustion processes can proceed by stages, thereby largely improving the combustion efficiency of the coal in the boiler.

A grate according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a stationary grate and a movable grate, in which the movable grate is driven on and upper or lower portion of the stationary grate to stir and transfer inflammable articles. Also, the grate includes a grate body portion; a first friction portion engaged to the grate body portion on the upper portion of the grate body portion; and a second friction portion engaged to the grate body portion below the lower portion of the grate body portion. Therefore, deformation or wearing of the grate due to thermal stress can be minimized. If it is determined that the grate should be replaced due to the friction or incineration heat, the grate can be replaced in a state in which each grate engaged to a support rod is not taken off one by one. In particular, it is possible to selectively replace only the worn portion of the grate, without replacing the whole grate. Therefore, a period of replacing the grate can be shorten, and a time or cost required to replace the grate can be reduced.
