    • PURPOSE: A method for preparing rubusoside from stevioside is provided to obtain a large amount of rubusoside applied to food, a cosmetic product, and a pharmaceutical product. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing glucose-removed stevioside comprises a step of treating viscozyme, naringinase, or a mixture thereof to the stevioside. The glucose-removed stevioside is rubusoside, steviol monoglucoside, or steviol. Rubusoside is prepared by viscozyme or naringinase. Steviol monoglucoside is prepared from stevioside by viscozyme or naringinase. The viscozyme and naringinase are derived from Aspergillus aculeatus and Penicillium decumbens, respectively. A composition for decomposing stevioside contains the viscozyme, naringinase, or a mixture thereof as an active ingredient.     • PURPOSE: A novel hemiterpene glucoside compound isolated from Ilex Rotunda leaf extract with an antioxidation activity is provided to remove free radicals, to enhance antioxidation activity, and to be used in a cosmetic composition or functional food composition. CONSTITUTION: A hemiterpene glucoside compound is denoted by chemical formula 1 or 2. The compound is isolated from Ilex Rotunda leaves. The compounds are prepared by purifying Ilex Rotunda leaf extract by column chromatography. The Ilex Rotunda leaf extract is prepared using water, anhydrous or hydrous low carbon number alcohols, acetone, ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, or 1,3-butylene glycol. A composition for antioxidation contains the compounds of chemical formula 1 or 2 as an active ingredient. The composition is a cosmetic composition for antioxidation. The cosmetic composition is manufactured in the form of a skin softener, lotion, nutrition cream, massage cream, essence, eye cream, cleansing cream, cleansing form, pack, spray, or powder.
