    • PURPOSE: A device for controlling a position of a mirror is provided to change a reflective angle of a mirror by rotating a mirror stage and to appropriately control an amount of lights irradiated from a light source and reached to an optical sensor. CONSTITUTION: A mirror is mounted on the upper part of a mirror stage(100). A fixing unit arranged in the lower part of the mirror stage comprises a light source and optical sensor unit. A stage moving unit is arranged between the mirror stage and fixing unit and fixed to the mirror stage or fixing unit. The stage moving unit changes the reflection angle of the mirror by controlling the mirror stage. An optical interrupting unit(400) is extended to the lower side of the mirror stage and arranged between the light source unit and optical sensor unit. The optical interrupting unit interrupts some of lights irradiated form the light source unit and incident to the optical sensor unit.

    • PURPOSE: A location controlling system for a scanner is provided to accurately detect each location, thereby providing high precision of angle resolution and drift. CONSTITUTION: At least one optical sensor support unit(130) is formed on a fixing unit(160). The optical sensor support unit is extended in a shaft direction of a rotation portion(150). An optical sensor(120) is formed on a surrounding circumference of the optical sensor support unit. An optical partition(110) is formed on the rotation portion. At least one light irradiating unit(100) horizontally irradiates uniform light. When the rotation portion rotates, the optical partition moves. Therefore, the amount of light for the optical sensor is controlled.

An amplification unit(330) amplifies the scanning control signal of analog voltage value of a DAC(Digital to Analog Converter)(320) according to the predetermined gain value. An output control unit(340) outputs the scanning control signal to the scanner driver. The output control unit controls the output of amplifier.

    • An image forming apparatus and its control method are provided to perform an aligning operation of a color image simply in printing the color image. When a laser scanning unit outputs a laser beam as a horizontal synchronization signal, a PSD(Position Sensing Detector)(10) receives the laser beam, amplifies two output currents(Y1,Y2) with a proper level, and provides the same to an A/D converter(21). The A/D converter converts the two amplified output currents into digital converts and provides the same to a synchronization signal detecting unit(22) and a synchronization start position signal detecting unit(23). The synchronization signal detecting unit detects a horizontal synchronization signal(H_sync1) by using the two output currents and provides the same to a video controller(25). The video controller provides video data(VDO) to the laser scanning unit. A position deviation detecting unit(24) detects a position deviation between a start position of a previous horizontal synchronization signal and a start position of a current horizontal synchronization signal, and provides the same to the video controller.

    • An apparatus for assembling a focus lens of a laser printer scanning unit is provided to assemble the focus lens at an accurate position by moving a pair of alignment units independently from each other. An apparatus for assembling a focus lens of a laser printer scanning unit includes a base unit(100), a camera unit(200), and a pair of alignment units(300). A laser scanning unit is placed on the base unit. A focus lens is preliminarily mounted on the laser scanning unit. The camera unit is implemented in a vertical line right over the focus lens and measures an irradiation deflection of a laser beam, which passes through the focus lens. The alignment units are arranged at both sides of the base unit in a direction normal to the focus lens. When end portions of the focus lens are gripped, the alignment unit receives measured results from the camera unit and aligns the focus lens on an accurate position.
