    • PURPOSE: A cyclic olefin-based polymer compound is provided to increase glass transition temperature of the cyclic olefin-based polymer higher than a cyclic olefin-based polymer obtained only from existing dicyclopentadiene, by using monomers obtained by a simple method. CONSTITUTION: A cyclic olefin-based polymer compound comprises a repeating unit in chemical formula 1. In chemical formula 1, the molar ratio of x:y is 99:1 - 1:99, and the average value of z is 10-20,000. A manufacturing method of the cyclic Alkyl lithium compound comprises a step of ring opening metathesis polymerizing a compound in chemical formula 2 with dicyclopentadiene and a compound in chemical formula 3 as a molecular weight controller under the presence of catalyst which is formed by the activation of a compound in chemical formula 4 by using an alkyl lithium compound(R^4Li) as a co-catalyst. R^4 is C-20 hydrocarbyl radical.
