A vacuum cleaner, capable of being selectively mounted with a dust bag or a cyclone dust collecting device, comprises a main case(11), a fixed bracket(60), a body cover and a sealing member(61). A dust collecting chamber is formed inside the main case. A connecting hole(15) is formed at one side of the dust collecting chamber which external air is flowed in and out. The fixed bracket is formed at the inner surface of the dust collecting chamber to be parallel to both sides of the connecting hole. The cyclone dust collector or the dust bag is selectively fixed at the fixed bracket. The body cover opens and closes the dust collecting chamber. The body cover is installed at the main case to be able to open and close. The sealing member is installed at the connecting hole.

Dirt is re-filtered by the filter while air passes through the filter and then the air is exhausted to a discharge port. The centrifugal separation member is received in the case. The lower cover has a dirt chamber in which dirt is piled.
