    • A method of cultivating mixed new buds of plantain and dandelion by sowing seeds of plantain and dandelion in a seed bed in a plastic green house(vinyl house) and frequently watering is provided. The mixed new buds have a soft texture and are used for boiled rice mixed with seasoned vegetables and meat(Bibim Bap) and rice wrapped in leaves of lettuce(Ssam). Seeds of plantain and dandelion are sown in a seed bed containing 30% by weight of common soil and 70% by weight of pumice in a plastic green house, hilled up with soil to about 2 to 3cm, covered with rice straw and frequently watered. For germination of seeds, the temperature is maintained at 20 to 25deg.C. A new bud begins to emerge about 1 week after sowing. The grown new buds are harvested when grown to 5 to 5cm in size.

    • The present invention relates to a bed soil for crops which comprises an organic material which includes coco peat, peat moss, humic acid; an inorganic material which includes bottom ash, red clay, vermiculite, pearlite, natural calcium sulfate; a functional material which includes mound lily, seaweed extract, fulvic acid and a manufacturing method thereof. The present invention comprises: 10-15 weight% of coco peat, 10-15 weight% of peat moss, 3-5 weight% of humic acid as the organic material; 10-20 weight% of bottom ash, 10-20 weight% of red clay, 3-5 weight% of vermiculite, 3-5 weight% of pearlite, 5-10 weight% of natural calcium sulfate as the inorganic material; 1-5 weight% of mound lily, 1-4 weight% of seaweed extract, 1-3 weight% of fulvic acid, 3-5 weight% of nitrogen guano as the functional material. The bed soil for crops and the manufacturing method thereof are capable of having excellent hydrophile property, drainage property, permeability, capacity to retain water, nutrient holding capacity; stably comprising decomposition; maintaining balance of plant growth, and improving the quality of soil. Furthermore, the present invention is capable of easily being cultivated and the crops harvested by thoroughly controlling the water and considering the growth duration of the crop in an open culture and home gardening such as a rooftop, a veranda, and a vegetable garden.
