    • PURPOSE: Provided is a low specific gravity vibration damping pad for automobiles which is remarkably reduced in weight, is improved in cold resistance and is excellent in vibration damping property and soundproofing property. CONSTITUTION: The low specific gravity vibration damping pad comprises 100 parts by weight of straight asphalt; 10-40 parts by weight of a polymer material; 50-70 parts by weight of a hollow inorganic filler; 10-30 parts by weight of other inorganic fillers; 5-20 parts by weight of a fibrous filler; and 1-5 parts by weight of quick lime. Preferably the polymer material is any one or a mixture of two components selected from SBR, NBR, IIR, polybutene, EPDM and SBS; the hollow inorganic filler has a specific gravity of 0.4-0.9 and is any one selected from alumina silicate, glass bubble, treated igneous rock micro-hollow sphere, resin hollow sphere and hollow fiber; the inorganic filler is any one selected from talc, clay, calcium carbonate and mica; and the fibrous filler is obtained by pulverizing and cutting magazines, vegetable fillers such as cotton, hemp, etc., and synthetic fibers such as acryl, polyester, etc.

    • PURPOSE: A method for fabricating a mold for vacuum casting is provided to improve workability during piercing vacuum holes on the master model by pre-installing a plurality of vacuum pipes on a base during fabrication of a master model, thereby connecting the vacuum pipes to vacuum holes of the master model. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises first step (S10) of fabricating a base(1) corresponding to shape or size of a mold to be fabricated in order to do casting operation; second step (S20) of pre-installing a plurality of vacuum pipes laterally along the upper end of the base if the base is fabricated; third step (S30) of fabricating a pseudo-shape(5) for master model(7) of a mold to be fabricated by pouring casting molten metal into the base; fourth step (S40) of fabricating a master model having a product shape surface by NC machining the upper surface of the pseudo-shape(5) for master model; fifth step (S50) of surface treating the master model by accurately finish machining the product shape surface of the master model; and sixth step (S60) of piercing vacuum holes(11) connected to vacuum pipes(3) a plurality of which are included in the master model at several locations on the product shape surface(9) of the master model(7), wherein the casting molten metal is formed of molten zinc.

    • PURPOSE: A curtain rail for a vehicle is provided to promote comfortable riding by preventing moving of sliders during traveling. CONSTITUTION: A curtain rail for a vehicle comprises a rail body(1) fixed to a body of the upper part of a window glass, and plural sliders(10) slidably supported to the rail body. The rail body forms a cavity(2) inside and a guide groove(3) in the floor of the cavity, and separation-preventing plates are installed at both ends of the rail body. Rollers(12,12') sliding while rotating along the floor of the cavity, are supported to the upper part of a slider body(11), with a pin(13) and the lower parts are withdrawn to the guide groove and a ring(14) is installed at the end. The slider body is lifted by forming an elliptical groove(30) around the pin of the upper part of the slider body. Both ends of a coil spring(32) are supported to the ceiling of a spring-housing chamber(31) and to the pin. The spring-housing chamber is formed to the upper part of the pin, to be communicated with the elliptical groove. A stop plate is formed to the lower part of the slider body.
