    • 본 발명은 제철소의 배가스의 분진 처리시 발생되는 집진수에 함유된 휘발성 유기 화합물을 제거하는 방법에 관한 것으로, 집진수가 모인 집수조를 밀폐하는 단계와, 상기 집수조에 공기 또는 배가스를 포기하여 상기 집진수 중에 용해된 휘발성 유기 화합물을 탈기하는 단계와, 상기 탈기된 가스를 발전소나 가열로의 연소용 공기와 혼합하여 휘발성 유기 화합물을 분해하는 단계로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 집진수에 함유된 휘발성 유기 화합물의 제거 방법을 그 기술적 요지로 한다.
      본 발명에 의하면, 제철소의 집진수 중에 용해된 휘발성 유기 화합물을 공기 또는 배가스를 이용하여 탈기하고, 이를 발전소나 가열로의 연소용 공기를 이용하여 분해, 제거함으로써 에너지를 효율적으로 재이용함과 동시에 휘발성 유기 화합물을 무해한 상태로 대기로 배출하여 환경오염을 저감하는 효과가 있다.

    • PURPOSE: A method for eliminating volatile organic compounds using ferrous ions contained in the scrubber water of an iron works is provided to reduce the amount of precipitation byproducts and recycle the scrubber water. CONSTITUTION: Scrubber water is collected(S1). The scrubber water contains volatile organic compounds, and liquid peroxide is diluted according to the concentration of the scrubber water(S2). The liquid peroxide is introduced into the scrubber water(S3). The volatile organic compounds are oxidized and eliminated through a fenton oxidation reaction using ferrous ions contained in the scrubber water(S4). In the fenton oxidation reaction, hydroxyl radial is generated and oxidizes the volatile organic compounds.

    • PURPOSE: A detecting method for the defect of a billet is provided to enhance the whiteness of magnetic powder by adding glass fiber fine powder to the magnetic powder for detecting the defects of the billet well. CONSTITUTION: Glass fiber fine powder is added to magnetic powder for enhancing the whiteness of the magnetic powder, then the defects of a billet are detected well. Generally, the glass powder diffusely reflects light for good recognition. Thus, the defects of the billet are easily removed under artificial illumination by the glass fiber fine powder. Herein, the particle size of the glass fiber fine powder is limited in 10 to 30 micrometers and mixed with the magnetic powder in 5 to 20wt%.
