摘要： A manufacturing method of a metal ring for pipe connection is provided to simply manufacture a large number of metal rings within a short time without requiring additional facilities, and selectively manufacture high quality uniform metal rings having various shapes and dimensions without limiting cross-sectional shapes of the metal rings, and a metal ring manufactured by the manufacturing method is provided. A manufacturing method of a metal ring for pipe connection comprises: a workpiece selecting process(S1) of selecting a steel wire as a workpiece; a coiling process(S2) of forming the steel wire into a circular shape by a coiling machine; and a cutting process(S3) of cutting the coiled wire into a doughnut shape, wherein a gap between cut portions is adjusted in the cutting process according to the compression ratio during pipe connection, and the gap between cut portions is inversely proportional to the magnitude of the compression ratio such that the gap decreases as the compression ratio increases. The manufacturing method further comprises a cut portion welding process of performing a welding operation of the cut portions to connect both ends of the wire after performing the cutting process.
