    • The present invention comprises as follows: a material processing step which processes a material into a desired shape in a method for treating the surface of aluminium or magnesium; a surface treating step which treats the surface of the processed material into a desired shape in the material processing step in order to treat the material at a surface resistance of 0.1-10 Ω/cm^2 and an average surface roughness of 0.1-10 micrometers; and a film forming step which forms an airless film on the surface treated material in the surface treating step. Compared with a case of treating a surface using a conventional process, the method for treating the surface of a metal prepared by the present invention has an excellent corrosion resistance and heating performance because the surface is in a white color. The method of treating the surface of a metal can also save painting costs and prevent heat transfer reduction effects from occurring due to a painting film because the method does not require extra painting treatment. Besides the excellent characteristics, the method can significantly save production time and costs by acquiring the performance of a heat sink for LED lighting equipment even with a relatively thin film of paint through surface treatment of the present invention.
