    • PURPOSE: An apparatus for controlling a device using a matrix array type thermopile sensor is provided to control various devices accurately by transmitting a size, the quantity, a position, the mobility and an emergency signal or heat image to a remote place when the sensed temperature below a preset value is generated. CONSTITUTION: A sensor device(101) divides a sensing range and generates the analog DC voltage with the seebeck effect by reacting with the infrared rays radiated from an object. An optical part receives the light by dispersing the infrared ray radiated from the object to a plurality of sensor device which are arranged in the square matrix. An amplifier amplifies the minute analog DC voltage generated in proportion to the electromotive force generated in the sensor device arranged in the matrix that is the current temperature of the object. A PATA unit(203) reads out the ambient temperature as the current temperature of the sensed object is changed according to the ambient temperature. A multiplexer performs the channeling of the read ambient temperature. An analog/digital converter(205) inputs the DC voltage analog signal outputted from the multiplexer with the external u-C.
