    • PURPOSE: An electromagnetic wiping apparatus, a plated steel sheet wiping apparatus having the same, and a method for manufacturing a plated steel sheet are provided to prevent the edge of the sheet from being over-plated and to deteriorate a gas wiping performance while maintaining the line speed of the sheet. CONSTITUTION: An electromagnetic wiping apparatus includes a base (10) and an electromagnetic wiping unit (30). The base is formed at one side of a plated steel sheet which has passed through a plating bath. The electromagnetic wiping unit on the base controls the thickness of a plating adhesion layer on the surface of the sheet with varying a magnetic field. The electromagnetic wiping unit includes permanent magnets (40) and at least one electromagnet. The permanent magnets having different polarities are arranged into a certain pattern in the base. The electromagnet is applied with a single or a three-phase alternating current to the base so that a time varying magnetic field is generated in the base.

According to the invention, the premelt container (6) is arranged below the guide channel (4) in order to technically adapt the existing system in a simple, efficient manner.
