    • A method for desulfurizing hydrocarbon fractions from steam cracking effluents is provided to produce C7+, C8+, or C9+ fractions directly used as gasoline base with low sulfur content, at low cost from a steam cracking plant at the petrochemical treatment spot. A method for desulfurizing hydrocarbon fractions from steam cracking effluents comprises a step for selectively hydrogenating raw material(HD1); a step for producing at least one hard C5 fraction, aromatic producing intermediate C6, C6-C7, or C6-C8 fractions, and gasoline producing heavy C7+, C8+, or C9+ fractions; a step for hydrodesulfurizing and deep-hydrogenating intermediate fractions(HD2); a step for alkylating heavy C7+, C8+, or C9+ fractions by treating sulfur compounds by an acidic catalyst; and a step for distilling effluents to produce heavy fractions directly used as low-sulfur gasoline base and heavy C11+ or C12+ fractions with highly rich sulfur compound content used as middle distillate or fuel oil.

    • PURPOSE: Provided is an integrated hydroisomerization/alkylation process where olefins and paraffins are processed to produce high octane gasoline blending components. CONSTITUTION: The process for processing a hydrocarbon feedstock comprising at least one C5 olefin, comprises the steps of (i) hydroisomerizing the hydrocarbon feedstock in a hydroisomerization zone so as to produce a hydroisomerized stream, and (ii) alkylating at least a portion of the hydroisomerized stream by a branched chain paraffin hydrocarbon in an alkylation unit to produce an alkylate stream. The at least one C5 olefin of the hydrocarbon feedstock is an olefin selected from 2-pentene, 2-methyl-butene-2, 1-pentene, 3-methyl-butene-1, 2-methyl-butene-1, isoprene, piperylene, cyclopentene, and combinations of any two or more thereof.
