    • PURPOSE: Provided are a method for fabricating catalyst for use in a liquid-phase decomposition process at low cost, and a liquid-phase decomposition process with high profitability by using the same. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of (a) reflux-heating waste catalyst of FCC process with 0.2-2.0N of hydrochloric acid, 0.1-1.0N of sodium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide at a temperature 60-80°C for 2-6 hours, and mixing the acid or base treated catalyst of the step (a) with FAU or MFI zeolite catalyst by below 100g. The liquid-phase degradation process comprises the step of degrading a polymer such as PE, PP and waste vinyl by using 10-100g of the catalyst prepared by the method above at 350-550°C to be hydrocarbon.

    • PURPOSE: Provided are preparation method of liquid phase degradation catalyst, a hydrogen exchanged MFI zeolite, for waste polymer and its polymer degradation method into low molecular hydrocarbons. The catalyst is prepared by treating zeolite in proper manner so that its surface area is increased, making the catalyst highly active and slowing down the carbon deposit. It degrades polymer fast into low molecular materials and increases the high yield of liquid products. CONSTITUTION: The preparation of catalyst comprises: making a synthetic mother liquid of 3-16(K2O, Na2O)·0.25-1.0Al2O3·50-100SiO2·2150-3000H2O without an organic template; adding 0.5-4g of MFI zeolite, as a core, per kg of the above mother liquid and synthesizing at 175-205°C for 1-3 days; and exchanging hydrogen by treating with 0.2-3N aqueous hydrogen chloride solution. The degradation device by the above MFI zeolite catalyst includes: delivery equipment of the reactant which slowly introduces, at a certain speed, molten polyolefin waste polymer heated, at the end of the hopper, to 200-350°C into the batch reactor; a reactor stirring the reactant and the alkali treated zeolite at 50-500rpm and the temperature of its exterior wall is controlled within ±2°C; a final reactor which increases the yield of the liquid products and converts the olefin into aromatic compounds by filling in the gallium exchanged MFI or BEA zeolite; and a separator of liquid products which separates the products continuously into different grades by the two step separator of different temperatures.

Specifically disclosed is a process for producing propylene by using ethylene and at least one member selected from methanol and dimethyl ether as starting materials, which comprises reacting ethylene and at least one member selected from methanol and dimethyl ether under specific conditions to produce a fluid containing an olefin having 4 or more carbon atoms, and then reacting at least a part of the olefin having 4 or more carbon atoms contained in the fluid with at least one member selected from methanol and dimethyl ether under specific conditions, thereby producing propylene.
